This is a pdf pattern package for both the Chive Sweatshirt and Chive Dress patterns!

What's the difference between the two? Can I just lengthen the sweatshirt?

Midway through testing the Chive sweatshirt pattern I started obsessing about making a dress version. I first used the sweatshirt as a block to build on but because the sweatshirt has a lot of ease I wasn't getting the flattering silhouette that I wanted. So I decided to make a new pattern that was inspired by the original.  

While the sweatshirts have a bit of ease (around 4" though the bust ) the dress has negative ease through the bust which helps to support the folded pockets that are built into the waistband- My favorite part. 

When I first envisioned view B for the sweatshirt I thought it would look cool with a raw hem however I didn't end up liking the final result. I ended up carrying that idea over to the dress and really like the finished look.
