A deep red colour that is steeped in history and tradition. The first recorded use of the colour in the UK was in 1523 but was used as far back as the 15th Century by the Aztecs and Mayans. It was a very popular red in Regency and Victorian times so had to have a place in the Heritage based Royal range.

All in one treatment that is touch dry in 90 minutes. Easy to apply with good penetration and excellent colour retention. Enriching formula for wood that is long lasting and easily applied. Superior product that is very easy to use and is wear and scuff resistant.

Advice: It is recommended that 2 – 3 coats be applied. If a lighter one coat finish is preferred we recommend 2 coats of Royal Clear to be applied on top, for added protection. Protek Royal is a high-build formulation so each extra coat increases the colour and sheen. If applying to bare timber a knotting agent should be used prior to application. When applied to floorboards a top coat of breathable polyurethane sealant or varnish should be applied to protect against heavy foot traffic.
